Dr. Rosa Judith Cisneros (1938-1981) was an Episcopalian who worked for social justice in El Salvador, especially as a champion for women's and children's rights. She was murdered on the steps of her home in San Salvador by government soldiers.
Rosa, Rosa, Rosa
The blind will not see
The deaf will not hear
The mute will not speak for Rosa
She was the savior of the poor
She was the campesinas’ friend
For the women she would work
No more, no more, no more
Brothers, will you come?
Sisters, will you come?
Fight with me for Rosa
Rosa, Rosa, Rosa
